Chase Goldberg Friedman is an Earth System Science student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with an interest in oceanography.

Born in Queens, New York, and an attendee of Hunter College High School, she began her career in the creative arts, writing, and making music and film from a young age.

At Northeastern University, she began seriously pursuing photography and political science, even working as a full-time photographer at Wentworth Institute of Technology for six months, but after several years of study, decided to switch to science.

Chase has experience with Model United Nations and theater on the High School, collegiate, and more formal levels, but her real passion is parliamentary debate. During her novice season in APDA, she slowly climbed the ranks of the novice bracket, eventually achieving a sixth ranking novice speaker award at the last tournament of the year. Her first varsity season begins this year.

Aside from APDA, she publishes an intermittently updated substack, occasionally posts photos of concerts and other things on her photography instagram, and works at an ice cream shop. Fill out the contact form to contact her or email chasegoldbergfriedman@gmail.com
